Meg received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting from Western Oregon University. After working for six years as an ASL interpreter in the schools, Meg attended Portland State University and received her Master’s of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She holds a national Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is licensed in the state of Oregon. Meg has been practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2014 and has primarily worked in school-based settings. She believes in supporting all forms of communication whether through verbal speech, sign language, or communication devices. Her areas of expertise include Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC), articulation/phonology, and language therapy.
Outside of work, Meg loves being with her son, Everett, and her Old English Sheepdog, Marshall, at their home in McMinnville. She spends as much time as possible in the outdoors traveling, hiking, biking, paddleboarding, snowshoeing, or camping.
