Jen earned her BS in Mathematics from Gonzaga University and after several years of working in insurance, she returned to the classroom and earned her MS in Speech-Language Pathology from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. She currently holds the national Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed in the state of Oregon.
Jen has enjoyed her experience working closely with children and their families to help facilitate growth in various areas of communication. She believes in family-centered, play-based therapy where kids can feel comfortable and develop a trusting, strong relationship. Her therapy aims to be fun and creative, while maximizing practice and skill building. She has experience in the public schools, Early Intervention (ages 0-3) and private clinic setting treating a wide variety of pediatric patients. Jen has presented at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s national conference in the area of mixed phonological and language disorders. She has completed the initial training in DIR/Floortime.
Outside of work, Jen enjoys traveling and cooking. She lives in McMinnville with her husband and two children.
