Kari earned her Bachelor's in Education, her Minors in both Spanish and Communication Sciences and Disorders, and her Master's in Speech and Language Pathology from Pacific University. She has been a practicing Speech and Language Pathologist since 2017. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American-Speech-Hearing-Association and is licensed in the state of Oregon. She is a Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) trained clinician through the Meaningful Speech course and her niche is in Gestalt Language Processing. She uses a play based approach with all children and incorporates goals within this approach. She is passionate about collaborating with families to help educate and empower them to support their children in communicating effectively; speaking or non-speaking. She is very confident in providing services specifically in the areas of phonological impairment, apraxia, expressive language, and gestalt language processing.
